Av. Haxhia graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, Albania in 1982. Mr. Haxhia has also a degree in Economics. In 1992 he started to found Haxhia & Hajdari Attorneys at Law, in this year he was also admitted to ABA (Albanian Bar Association). Also in 1992, Av. Haxhia held the position of General Prosecutor of Republic of Albania.
He started to provide legal advice to individuals and companies when our country began a long journey toward a free market economy after the collapse of dictatorship. All over his career, Av. Haxhia completed numerous specializations in Albania and abroad as well as a Harvard University specialization. For years he acted as a judge at the District Court of Tirana and lecturer at the Law Faculty, University of Tirana. He has been honored with several academic titles such as Professor and Doctor in Juridical Science. Currently he is the Chairman of Albanian Bar Association, and lecturer at the Law Faculty and Albanian School of Magistrates.
Av. Haxhia concentrates his practice in Criminal Law, Criminal Liability Law, Real Estate, Administrative Law, National & International Arbitration, Privatization & Concession, etc. He is also the author of numerous books and articles. Av. Haxhia speaks Albanian, English, Italian and Russian.
Av. Hajdari started practicing law in 1991 and he was admitted to Albanian Bar Association in 1998. He has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana. Mr. Hajdari also accomplished a Master Degree on European Studies, in 2005. For many years he acted as a judge and held the position of Chairman of the District Court and Court of Appeal in Tirana.
In 1993 Av. Hajdari was in the head of Vlora Court of Appeal. For two consecutive years Av. Hajdari acted as deputy minister in the Ministry of Justice. He has contributed as a member in several working groups settled by various state and international structures in the framework of improving and approaching our legislation with that of the European Community.
Currently he is a lecturer in the Albanian School of Magistrates. Av. Hajdari is also author of several articles in regard with Civil and Commercial Law.
His practice is focused but not limited in civil law, commercial law, M&A, energy law, telecommunication law, insurance law, labour law, customs law, banking & financial, privatization & concession law, etc.Av. Hajdari speaks Albanian, English and Italian.
Av. Hysi started practicing law in 2001 and in this year she joined Haxhia & Hajdari Attorneys at Law in 2001. She was admitted to the Albanian Bar Association in 2002.
Av. Hysi has a Law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana and a Master degree in European Business Law, co-organized by GTZ and the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana.
She has an extensive professional experience of expertise including corporate, M&A, privatization, concession law, competition law, intellectual property, etc. Av. Hysi has been appointed to the ICSID panel of Conciliators and/or Arbitrators. Av. Hysi speaks Albanian, English and Italian.
