HAXHIA & HAJDARI Attorneys at Law, established in 1992, has been a constant factor in the Albanian legal consulting business. Founded on the basis of the enterprise of the senior partner Prof. As. Dr. Maksim Haxhia (former General Prosecutor of Albania), enriched later with the judicial and administrative experience of Mr. Artan Hajdari (former vice Minister of Justice and former President of a Court of Appeal); international judicial and consulting experience of Mr Kristaq Traja (one of the authors of the Albanian Constitution and former judge of the ECHR, Strasbourg France) and Mrs Elira Kokona (Senior Legal Secretary of the ECHR and practitioner in Italy), the Law Firm has always believed that professional capability is the fundamental asset in competing with other operators.

The staff of our Law Firm is led by Prof. As. Dr. Maksim Haxhia, one of the pioneers of the advocacy in Albania after the nineties, actually President of the National Bar Association. His innovative and enterprise spirit which has reformed the legal professional in Albania has been at the same time the basic motivation of our team jointly to the undisputable professional formation. The other senior partner Mr. Artan Hajdari, joined the firm in 1998 after a rapid and important carrier in the judiciary-while covering important functions like vice Minister of Justice and President of a District Court and President of a Court of Appeal-contributing with his managerial capability as well as with his thorough legal knowledge, confirmed in his professional and academic experience as distinguished expert of commercial and private law at national and international level.
Throughout the years the Law Firm has recruited qualified professionals specialized in different areas of law, meeting high standards of professionalism and ethics.
Mr. Kristaq Traja, who joined the team in 2008 contributing with his illustrious experience in a 10 year-mandate as a Judge at the ECHR, Strasbourg and as one of the luminaries of the constitutional law in the Balkan region. His international law profile well-regarded in the European legal environment has added a very peculiar and precious asset to the firm. Mrs Elira Kokona, a practicing lawyer in Italia and Albania with her international education and international professional experience as a practitioner before ordinary courts and arbitration tribunals, has contributed to the offering of Firm’s Albanian and foreign clients legal assistance with the international standard also at the international instances.
